Hey guys, so currently I'm still keeping up with my 3hours of no technology challenge which I'm finding difficult particularly this week, considering it's exam week and all I want to do is study study study, but in saying that, I think sticking to my challenge is generally keeping me from going insane with over study! I must admit of late, I'm finding myself get bored with what I usually do during the three hours (Look back a picture collage) however I have since picked up a few new hobbies to pass the time.. a few of these include fishing and sewing!
This was particularly good when I brought a shirt the other day from a sample bin worth $85 AUD for $5 AUD because there was a split in the seem, I hand sewed it back together and wah lah as good as new! Generally I find myself a bit of a clothing snob and wont buy things with any faults but considering the amount of money I saved from a quick stitch up I think I will reavalute the way I shop, So besides keeping me sane this challenge yet again had proven to aid in so much more, I've reassesed the way I go about my day (for the better) changed my prioities (being attatched to social media now low on the list) and embraced natural, simple pleasure like one on one time with my family and friends.

This simple little quote I believe adiquatley sums up the primary lesson I've learn in participating in the 3hour no technology challenge:

Don't underestimate the value of Doing Nothing, of just going along, listening to all the things you can't hear, and not bothering.  ~Pooh's Little Instruction Book, inspired by A.A. Milne
